Information on the part of SAP

(image: SAP Logo / © SAP) The granting of licenses is administered centrally by SAP Germany. The transfer of licenses to a new owner is possible with the cooperation of a system house and SAP Germany. Susensoftware is able to initiate and accompany these transfers, because of prior experiences we know exactly how the respective processes at the licensor and system houses work.

SAP has confirmed us in writing, what from their point of view must be considered when transferring licenses.

Differences in the software use:

  • Developer User:
They do use the SAP NetWeaver, to change the existing computer applications, to develop own applications, to rebind the applications in the system and to administrate the applications.

  • Professional User:
Use the software to solve the operational problems.

  • Limited User:
Are user of third companies, that also solve the operational problems by using the software, but only on a limited scale.

  • Employee User:
They do only have access to "self-services", as for example the software-based planning or timing of business travels or the order of materials for one’s own use.
SAP products are either available as stand-alone products (CRM, SCM, SRM, PLM etc.) or as a solution suite (mySAP Business Suite, ERP, etc.). The customer licenses SAP solutions or the SAP ERP for a pre-defined number of named users per user category and software product. Any individual accessing SAP software must be licensed as a named user.
