Pirate copies
The sale of pirate copies is prohibited by law and will be prosecuted.

Backup copies
Copies of the software can not be sold separately and must be deleted when reselling the software.

Software delivered only as a download version
According to a European provision, download products like music, films and software must be particularly protected and therefore can not be resold. This regulation is more than disputed, but still applicable law.
